Configuring a Mobility Policy

Updated over a week ago

The Mobility Policy Configuration section enables you to define detailed parameters for an employee mobility policy. Follow these steps to configure the policy:

1. General Information

  • Employee Level: Shows the assigned employee level (e.g., "N-2").

  • Mobility Policy: Displays the name of the policy (e.g., "Default Policy").

  • Status: Indicates whether the policy is Active or inactive, along with its start date.

2. Setting the Budget

Under Employee Budget Usage, define the financial and usage parameters:

  • Budget Amount per Month: Enter the amount employees can use monthly (e.g., €50).

  • Tax Free Toggle: Turn on or off depending on whether the budget is tax-exempt.

3. Budget Type

  • Type of Budget: Select how unused budgets are handled (e.g., "Rollover").

    • Options typically include "Rollover," "Fixed," or other configurations based on company policy.

4. Additional Budget Settings

  • Max Balance: Specify the maximum amount an employee can accumulate if rollover is enabled.

  • Employee Maximum Services: Limit the number of services employees can use under the policy.

  • Mobility Overdraft: Set a value for how much an employee can exceed their budget, if allowed.

5. Regional Contributions

For country-specific options like Germany:

  • Deutschlandticket Minimum Contribution: Specify the minimum employee contribution toward the ticket.

  • Deutschlandticket Maximum Contribution: Set the highest amount the company will contribute (e.g., €55.10).

6. Save the Configuration

  • After entering all necessary details, click the "Save" button to finalize the policy.

  • Use the "Cancel" button if you need to discard changes.
