The price of the Deutschlandticket will rise from €63.00 to €66.80 on 1 January 2027. The federal and state governments have officially confirmed the increase. This article explains how the change affects your company account, your employees, and your internal processes, and what (if anything) you need to do.
Key figures
| Until 31.12.2026 | From 01.01.2027 |
Deutschlandticket price | €63.00 | €66.80 |

How your contribution will be adjusted
NAVIT handles the technical migration for you. What happens depends on how you currently subsidise the Deutschlandticket:
You cover the full ticket price. Your contribution increases automatically from €59.85 to €63.46. Nothing changes for your employees.
You pay the minimum contribution. Your contribution increases automatically from €15.75 to €16.70. Your employees continue to receive the ticket at the discounted job ticket price.
Your contribution is between the minimum and the full price. Your contribution is already above the new minimum, so no changes are made.
If you’d like to set up your contribution differently, contact your NAVIT account manager or our support team by 4 November 2026.
Impact on your employees
The Deutschlandticket remains available in the NAVIT app without interruption. If you don’t cover the full ticket price, your employees’ share increases in line with the price change. During the transition, please note the following dates:
By 10 December 2026: Ticket purchases for December will be disabled.
From 14–15 December 2026: Companies are transitioned to the new setup. From then on, employees can purchase tickets for January.
Impact on payroll and invoicing
If your contribution or your employees’ share changes, this will be reflected in the monthly payroll report starting January 2027. If you receive a NAVIT invoice for the Deutschlandticket, it will show the new ticket price from January 2027.
Communication material for your employees
We’ve prepared templates you can use to inform your employees about the price change. You can download them from the 2027 Job Ticket communication material for admins collection.
